Acceptable Use Policy

Uploads in Pigi should stay lawful, respectful, and safe.

Last updated April 22, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules for receipts, bills, images, attachments, and other user-provided content in Pigi. Pigi is operated by Edijs Petersons ("Pigi", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy applies to current media-sharing behavior and to near-term attachment features planned for Pigi.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to any media or files you submit through Pigi, including overview images you export from the app, receipts, bills, screenshots, transaction attachments, and similar content features that may be available now or added later.

What you may upload

  • You may only upload content that you created yourself or that you have clear permission to use and store in Pigi.
  • You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of what you upload.
  • You must not use uploads or attachments to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or target other people.
  • You must not use Pigi to store or distribute harmful files, abusive content, or material that could create risk for others.

Prohibited content

  • Illegal content or content that encourages unlawful activity.
  • Content that exploits, harms, or endangers children in any way.
  • Pornographic, sexually exploitative, violent, graphic, hateful, threatening, harassing, or abusive material.
  • Content that invades someone else's privacy, reveals confidential information without permission, or includes personal data you do not have the right to share.
  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
  • Malware, corrupted files, deceptive files, or any content designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

Privacy and visibility

Pigi is a private budgeting product, not a public social platform. Even so, some content may be accessible to us or our service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the feature, provide support you request, review abuse or security issues, or comply with law.

If you choose to export or share content outside Pigi, including saving to your photo library or sharing through third-party apps, those actions happen at your direction and may be governed by the policies of those external platforms.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload or submit. We do not promise to review every file before it is processed or stored, but we reserve the right to review, refuse, remove, disable access to, or report content that we reasonably believe violates this policy, our Terms & Conditions, the rights of others, or applicable law.

Enforcement

We may remove content, limit feature access, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable action if content or behavior appears to violate this policy. We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect users, enforce our policies, or comply with legal obligations.

Reporting concerns

If you believe content or behavior in Pigi violates this policy, email support@getpigi.com. If your concern relates to privacy or personal data, you can also contact privacy@getpigi.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updates may reflect new content features, legal requirements, or changes to the operator, ownership, or legal structure of Pigi.
